About Us
Impact Home Remodeling is unique in that it does both home remodeling and landscaping, handling every aspect of a home transformation. What started as a landscaping business in 1998 has catapulted into a premier home remodeling company—encompassing both interiors and exteriors.
Company founder Joe Chiera started the business by push-mowing lawns while a senior at Walsh Jesuit High School to earn spending money while balancing time between school and playing baseball. With a strong work ethic and keen business acumen, his company has morphed three decades later into a full-service landscaping and home remodeling company with a staff of 50 landscapers and construction crew.
A true family business, his wife Kristen also is involved with each job. Kristen, who was a critical care nurse before getting involved in the family business, translates her caring demeanor into superb customer service and provides design inspiration for home remodeling projects.
After building their own home from the ground up and creating a place for their family to make loving memories, the couple is passionate about helping other homeowners renovate their spaces and find that same joy.

Yes, we partner with a local design center in town where you can go to choose cabinets from leading manufacturers. Plus, we have custom cabinet options handcrafted by local Amish craftsmen.
Can you also build home additions?
In addition to kitchen, bathroom and basement remodels, we specialize in home additions—from kitchen bump-outs to sunrooms to in-law suites. Plus we are homebuilders, so we can build new construction from the ground up.
